Attack of the number tee. It seems as if right when [No really, right when] I picked up this ‘bad boy’ from Forever 21 I soon noticed a flood of jersey inspired tees on various store shelves. Oh, and now that I spend an extensive amount of my time online, the amount has only tripled in size since my first sighting. It’s one of those trends that I hate to love. Hate, because it’s approaching a point of store and blogger saturation; love because its so darn cute to me. What do you think?
I went on a hunt to find other homes to ‘athletic tees’ online. I gathered that Topshop has a large inventory of varying colors, numbers, and price points; take a look here & here! I went for a shirt with a lower price tag from Forever 21 and there are many others where I found this one. H&M also has an inventory of athletic tee’s that are super affordable; check one out here!
I paired my athletic tee with camo! I think printed t-shirts against camouflage can work in whatever combination you concoct. A look like this would be perfect for an afternoon lunch or gathering with friends. I chose to finish off the look with a pointed toe heel with an ankle strap, but it can also be done with a sandal heel or Fall bootie. How would you style this athletic tee? Check out my ‘3 Ways to Style Chuck Taylors’ post and let me know which look you prefer featuring this top!
